Legacy systems - RS232, Infra-red and switch input interfaces
Whilst most Third Party systems are now opting to use IP based control for integration Rako still offers the ability to interface using RS232, Infra-red and switch inputs.
RS232 requires the WRA232 for either wired or wireless systems. A full RS232 command summary is available from the link below.

Infra-red (IR) requires the RAVIR which converts standard RC5 IR codes to Rako wireless commands. Use as a stand-alone device for wireless systems, wired systems would need a Bridge to convert the wireless messages to the wired Rakom commands.
Switch inputs. Volt-free switch inputs can be linked to a Rako network using either the WAVFR (wired systems) or RAMVR (wireless). Mains voltage inputs can be linked to a Rako network using either the WAVMI (wired) or RMR-VF (wireless).
