Project Background Brief

After a successful domino effect throughout the country, the Lord has finally set foot in the City of Joy, Kolkata! Presenting the 11th edition of the largest restaurant chain in India.

Lord of the Drink is nestled in the heart of Kolkata in The South City Mall and extends some 3850 square feet. The Lord has bestowed Kolkata with a 40 ft double-height bar with an upper stage for the bartenders and lower stage for the customers to enjoy their sipping sessions.

It showcases a strong influence drawn from the neo-classical and modern era with customised brass disc chandeliers.

Revolutionising the very essence of nightlife in Kolkata, Lord of the Drinks is a huge shift from the usual resto-bars in town due to the subtle play of levels and heights. Usage of motifs, mirrors and 3D interiors with a touch of gold, the outlet follows a robust combination of green and cherry complemented with a very unique collection of chairs to make one feel the lavish vibes.

Particular Challenges

There were two challenges in particular when Pryme Technologies embarked upon this project - extremely short timescales and an existing manual dimming system that was already in place.
